What the ledger says
The 155-record Klaviyo ledger contains 114 one-star, 5 two-star, 4 three-star, 3 four-star and 29 five-star records. Classification produced 31 pricing, 26 support, 26 missing-capability, 26 praise, 24 bug, 15 usability, 6 unrelated and 1 reliability record.
Billing is the largest classified complaint group
Absolutely terrible billing structure that eats straight into your profit margins. They bill based on outdated list sizes so even after you clean your list, you're forced to overpay until their system finally decides to "catch up."Klaviyo Trustpilot ledger, 1★, 2026-04-05
The 31 pricing records repeatedly mention active profiles, sudden tier changes, cancellation friction and the gap between reduced usage and a lower bill.
Support accounts for 26 classified records
Shocking. Absolutely shocking. My account was suspended out of the blue, with no warning, no explanation, and no support.Klaviyo Trustpilot ledger, 1★, 2026-01-28
Support complaints often overlap with billing or account access. The classification count is kept separate, so one record has one primary label.
Suspensions appear as a smaller, higher-impact pattern
If you want to rely on your emails and automations, please don't use Klaviyo. There are many other alternatives. They suspended my account without any notice. Not even an email saying that my account is disabled.Klaviyo Trustpilot ledger, 1★, 2025-04-11
A conservative text scan found 9 Klaviyo records referring to suspension, disabling, blocking, shutdown or termination. The scan is a keyword count, not a classifier, and is included because losing sending access has outsized operational impact.
The instattoo billing loop
Case summary supplied with the corpus: the account needed payment before profiles could be suppressed, while suppression was needed to lower the bill. The API reported completion but skipped 100 out of 100 profiles. The practical lesson is to export and suppress before cancellation, while the account is fully operable.

Methodology
The headline snapshot records Trustpilot's public totals supplied with this project: 362 reviews, 1.8 out of 5, and 56% one-star. The detailed analysis uses 155 dated, operator-supplied Klaviyo excerpts stored in a JSONL evidence ledger. Each record includes source URL, date, rating, classification, confidence and segment.
Counts were produced directly from the ledger on 2026-07-22. Pricing and support use the ledger's primary classification. Suspension uses a disclosed keyword scan. Quotes reproduce only the stored excerpt, which is capped at 280 characters. Public review totals can change after publication.
